The post is part of of a series of stories that form part of my daily life #mydailylifestories. I use this to learn about myself through others.

“You are Wrong!” These words screamed at me constantly in the brief engagements I had with 2 individuals today in Chennai.

I had noticed this Perambur gym on Tank Bund Road and knew it was a public one. Today, I went in after removing my chappals outside. I noticed a young man right at the entrance who did not look like a gym employee. He noticed me. I hesitated and then walked past him. I checked the weights and did some curls. Just was looking at the other patrons and how they did theirs. This is how I learn and replicate. One patron called out to me and pointed me to the entrance. He told me that I was called, rather summoned. I went to the man who didn’t look the employee. “How can you just walk in and do exercise?” I was taken aback. The rudeness hit me before I got my ground back. I started thinking why the rudeness. The man believes I am wrong and he is right. “I am sorry, I didn’t know. I thought it was government’s”. “So what, can’t you read?”. Oh, there was the black board with two lines in Tamil. I didn’t bother reading. “Write in this book and bring a towel”. I wrote down as another patron was obediently asking if the time out also to be written. I walked out wondering what I could have done right to redirect the rudeness to friendliness.

Next stop was Sangeetha, a popular veg restaurant opposite the Railway station. It is my routine to get a glass of water before my tea, this time I wanted warm. As I felt the container to check if it was warm before I pour out, the employee who provides water to the patron told me to go to the counter. I didn’t understand but could feel the same rudeness. Why? Because again, the employee believes I am Wrong.

This is quite popular. So fun that I was doing it all my life. Find the wrong doer and give him my piece of mind as I am right. How do I handle the ‘righteous” It is a tall game but I am at it. It cannot be avoided. It cannot be rebutted. It cannot be offended. It cannot be obliged. So what
